Newborn Photography Training

Why get training with Pamila?
Maybe you are already a photographer working in a different field and you would like some training on handling and posing newborn babies. Perhaps you are already photographing children and babies and would like a little helping hand with your photographing, editing or just general business things. Maybe you are looking for a new career. Something that you can do from home; whilst the children are at school or something you can do by visiting familyβs homes.
Whichever of the above you are, Pamila can tailor a day of training to suit your needs. Take a look at my Instagram to see the style of photos that I take.
Options
When we were learning we found that one on one training was the most valuable type of training that we received. It gives you time to ask lots of questions as well as being hands on.
The sort of day that we normally propose involves doing a model call for suitably aged baby/babies to come to our studio. In the morning I would normally handle the baby and talk you through all the aspects of a typical session. Things like: lighting; settling a baby; posing a baby; angles; beanbag preparation; parent preparation and safety. My husband normally photographs during the newborn sessions. So you could practice angles and lighting with him at the same time. In the afternoon we would either get a second baby in for you to practice posing or I can show you how I edit a newborn gallery.
Example Half day:
9-1 with one baby with me showing you how I pose a typical session. After the session I would run through some tips on editing. This would be Β£595
Example Full day:
9-5 as above but with a second baby in the afternoon for you to practice posing. This would be Β£895.
Ongoing Support
If you go for either the half day or the full day we will be there for you over email or on the phone for the first year.
